About Green's Carriages

The company was formed over 45 years ago from humble beginnings, when Norman Green acquired two princess limousines for funerals and weddings. That's Norman in fact, helping the bride from one of the cars all those years ago. His son Martin Green joined the business back in 1974, and in turn his son Matthew  joined the father and son partnership in 2003. So three generations make up this very family run business, and all very actively involved to this present day.  

Our main garage and office is situated in Catford, south London, where thirty vehicles are stored and prepared daily. Other sites are based in Lewisham and Peckham where even more cars are garaged, and where the company first made it's roots.

Because the vehicle fleet is so diverse and large, we are able to offer quantity, quality and the unique. So if you need twenty matching limousines for one funeral, or one bearer for twenty minutes time, we can deal with the volume and the emergency. We are always looking for new ideas and vehicles to enhance our service, so that our customers can offer more than their competition, and the widest possible choice to their families. We have always been very well known for our funeral and wedding car hire service, but there are so many other ways we can assist as and when required.
